  1. My family and I had a wonderful trip to Mui Ne last summer. It was an unforgettable experience for us. The beach in Mui Ne is magnificent with white sand, clear water and blue sky. We especially liked the white-sand dune and red-sand dune, just like a mini Sahara desert. We were really surprised to see this kind of nature in Vietnam. In the dunes, we had one of the greatest moments in our trip when we were able to watch the sunrise and sunset. What a magical view!
In addition to the landscape, we also really enjoyed some interesting activities on the sand, like sand-sliding and kite-flying. We rent a plastic board from the local and try sand-sledding down the slip face of the dunes. We also visit the Fairy Stream, a must-visit site in Mui Ne. It will be an omission if you don’t visit this magical place. At the beginning, the stream looks normal with coconut trees lining along both sides; however, you will soon recognize its magical beauty as we are following the stream’s flow. The water is cool and only ankle-deep. You will feel comfortable walking on the stream. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Definitely worth-visiting.

  2. I’m planning to visit Mui Ne next month. Do you know some good places to stay while being in Mui Ne?

    1. Dear Sir/Madam,
Mui Ne offers a wide range of accommodation in every category, from budget to luxury. There are many small and inexpensive hotels in Mui Ne, but these are often located a bit far from the main tourist area. If you want to stay near the beach, you can look for beach-side resorts with higher prices. Remember to book hotels in advance during Vietnamese holidays since the accommodations are usually fully booked. Here are our picks for the best places to stay in Mekong Delta to help you make the right decision.
       Lan Anh guesthouse
Address: Block 5, Huynh Tan Phat Street, Mui Ne, Vietnam
       Keng guesthouse
Address: 185 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Mui Ne, Vietnam
       Thien Son guesthouse
Address: 102 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Mui Ne, Vietnam
       Grace Boutique Resort
Address: 144A Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Mui Ne, Vietnam
      Thank you for the question.

  3. Does it rain a lot in Mui Ne? Because I heard that is the typical weather in tropical countries. I’m afraid the rain will spoil our vacation. If so, when is the best time to visit Mui Ne? Thanks

    1. Dear Christine,
Mui Ne is relatively different to the other places in Vietnam. The weather in Mui Ne is dry all year since Binh Thuan province – where Mui Ne resides – is the driest region in South East Asia; and even in the rainy season, there seems to be very little rain in comparison to nearby places, like Nha Trang, Hoi An. Thanks to its unique climate, any day during the year would be great time to visit Mui Ne.
However, the local people suggest that the great time for visiting Mui Ne would be the months between August and April of the next year. If you want to go there for surfing, the days between August and November are perfect for this sport since Mui Ne tends to have big waves at that time. If you want to enjoy the most beautiful beach, you should visit Mui Ne from December to April. In these months, the beach of Mui Ne is just amazing with yellow sand, blue water and clear sky. You will have a great time lying on the beach under the palm trees; that will definitely be a memorable experience.
      Thank you for the question.
